Ayame (Iris)

Take a walk around Shidaka Lake...see some iris in 神楽女湖しょぶ園. Know the meaning but not its reading. This is the interesting thing with Japanese reading. Its kanji (chinese character) has various reading when combine with another kanji. Therefore we need to memorize every different readings. Huge task for non-native speaker.
Couple with hot weather and no rain for a quite some time in that area, the lake becomes dry. So visitors can walk on the lake between the iris.

Kijima Kourakuen Yuenchi, Beppu

Sepatutnya kami pergi ke Kijima semasa golden week baru ni untuk melihat koinobori sekolah Zakiah dan nursery Fatimah..tapi sebab APU tak cuti, tak dapat nak pergi. Hari ni pun sebenarnya bukan masa yang sesuai memandangkan APU musim exam dan Fatimah kurang sihat...tapi sebab tiket free dan expired date dah dekat...nak tak nak kena pergi juga. Anak-anak paling seronok dan tak henti-henti main.
Istimewanya amusement park ni ialah jet coaster yang di buat dari kayu dipanggil Jupiter...the first wood jet coaster in Japan.

Umitamago, Oita

Ini adalah school trip Zakiah yang pertama untuk sesi ini. Kalau tahun lepas ke African Safari, tahun ini ke Umitamago. Sambil mengenal kehidupan marine, dapat mengeratkan hubungan antara keluarga dan guru....really great time.

Tulip Festival in Oita

Harajiri Waterfall is so popular in Oita during spring. Many reason. Colorful. But the best is......no entrance fee  . They named it the small Niagara. It takes around one hour to reach this place by car from Beppu city.

Sakura
|
|
Sakura ....... satu kebanggaan dan identiti bangsa Jepun. Sebelum diadakan usaha memperkenalkan sakura ke luar Jepun di bawah naungan keluarga di raja, Sakura hanya boleh dilihat di Jepun saja. Setahun sekali. Kembangnya hanya lebih kurang 2 minggu je. Itupun kalau cuaca baik.
Jalan-jalan sekitar Oita melihat keindahan bunga sakura dan gelagat masyarakat Jepun meraikannya. Memang amat meriah. Diadakan ?÷?Õ‚è (pesta sakura) hampir di semua tempat. Kawasan yang jadi tumpuan melihat sakura (‚¨‰ÔŒ©), awal-awal lagi dah ditempah. Jadi, kalau nak dapat tempat yang elok kena datang awallah. Jadi macam orang Jepun

Dolphin Watching at Amakusa
|

It was our first experience of seeing a school of dolphins swimming at the open sea. Very rare experience. The kids were very excited specially Zakiah  .
After seeing dolphins at the open sea, we went to Dolphin World. With 100 yen, children have a chance of touching/shake hands with dolphin.
